Since World War II, Americans have supported our men and women in uniform on the homefront.
Homefront Hugs USA is here for our troops, families,and veterans who have served our country with honor and helped us all preserve our freedoms.
For many of you lucky enough to be coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan- welcome home. Our hearts and prayers are with all our troops still serving every day here and abroad, our veterans and their families. You are not forgotten... you will never be forgotten...
neither are our heroes from September 11th, 2001.
If you are reading this and in the armed forces-or a veteran, we thank you for your service to our country. You need to know that you have honor already every day for what you silently sacrifice- there is honor even if we never achieve peace in certain areas of the world . Your courage and faith in our country and freedoms has earned the highest honors.
We invite everyone of all faiths and political affiliations and countries to sign and read our special guestbook for and by the troops and families. It begins with us to remember why we have the freedoms we so often take for granted- freedom to be who we are -no matter how similar or different from others. It begins with us to teach our children tolerance and respect of all human beings as we are all God's children. The freedoms we have are precious and to be treasured.
